“Shape-Based Pricing”
This isn’t just about rates increasing. The USPS will move to shape-based pricing on May 14. For law firms, this probably means a big increase. Click here to read a great article by Ellen Freedman that explains the changes and offers cost-cutting tips for law firms.
The post office is offering free classes regarding the new regulations. You can attend next Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday, from 9 a.m.–noon or 1–4 p.m. Reservations required: (303) 853-6806.
The new pricing structure will require a “template” to make calculations easier. The template will be available at the post office training classes.
