*** Meet the Magistrate Judges ***
The DBA-YLD encourages its membership to attend a FREE happy hour and CLE sponsored by the Young Lawyers Division of the Federal Bar Association entitled "Meet the Magistrate Judges" on June 21 from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. in the Hershner Room, which is located on the ground floor of the Wells Fargo Center (a/k/a the Cash Register Building) at 1700 Lincoln Street. Free drinks and hors d’oeuvres will be served! Come hear practical tips for ethical conduct in practice before the U.S. Magistrate Judges in Colorado. Please submit any questions you would like the magistrate judges to address to:
ewebber@littler.com by June 19. Two CLE credits, including a partial ethics credit, have been applied for. *This event will take the place of the June Barristers After Hours*
*** Legal Night ***
Legal Night is a program that provides free legal and referral information to residents in the community regarding issues of immigration, employment, housing, consumer, family law, and various other legal issues. It is held at Mi Casa Resource Center for Women (360 Acoma Street) on the third Tuesday of every month from 5:30 to 8 p.m. and at Centro San Juan Diego (2830 Lawrence Street) on the first Wednesday of every month from 5:30 to 8 p.m. No experience is necessary and dinner is provided. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE LEGAL NIGHT AT CENTRO SAN JUAN DIEGO HAS A STRONG NEED FOR IMMIGATION ATTORNEYS.
