***ABA Regional Conference*** Save the Dates!! On Presidents' Day Weekend, February 17 - 19, 2005, the DBA Young Lawyers' Division presents the 2005 Ski-LE Regional Conference at Copper Mountain Resort. Thursday evening reception, followed by morning CLEs and afternoon skiing on Friday and Saturday:

***Winter Festival*** Winter Festival (formerly known as "Christmas in January") is here!! Doors are scheduled to open at 8:30 on the morning of January 22, 2005, and the kids will start arriving at 10:30 a.m., at the Denver Department of Human Services, located at 1200 Federal Blvd, Denver, Colorado 80204. This event provides gifts, including books, toys, sporting goods, and stuffed animals to Denver area foster children, while giving them an opportunity to celebrate the holidays. We are also planning on sorting toys tonight (Jan. 20, 2005) starting at 6 p.m. at the DBA offices at 1900 Grant Street in Denver, and will be setting up tomorrow (Jan. 21, 2005) at 6 p.m., at the Dept. of Human Services. ***Coffee Talk*** January's topic is, Oh Behaaave!! The Etiquette and Ethics of Socializing for New Practitioners. Learn how to conduct yourself in front of fellow lawyers, clients, and complete strangers in social situations, how to avoid ethical problems at cocktail parties, which fork to use, how to gracefully exit a boring conversation, how not to embarrass yourself giving a toast, and learn when to say when and how to tell when others should say when. Join colleagues Wednesday, January 26, 2005, from 8:00 AM - 9:00 AM, at the Denver Bar Association, 1900 Grant Street, 9th Floor. The cost is only $5 for DBA members and $10 for non-members.
***DU Law School Recent Grad Reunion 2005*** On January 28, 2005 the DBA-YLD is co-sponsoring the DU Law Recent Grad Reunion with CBA-YLD, LEXISNEXIS and DU College of Law Alumni Relations. As in years past seating is limited so please RSVP as soon as possible. The cost is $20.00 per person and includes a reception from 6-7:30 p.m. and your ticket to the 7:35p face off Hockey game of the National Champion DU Pioneers vs. Alaska Anchorage at Magness Arena locate on DU’s Campus.
