SPRING CBA YLD CLE: Topics in Public Interest Law

MATERIALS

Don’t miss this exciting CLE put on by young lawyers for young lawyers.

When: Monday, April 23 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Where: University of Colorado Law School in Boulder

Credits: Applied for 7 general CLE credits and 1 ethics credit.

For the first time, the CBA YLD is hosting a spring CLE program tailored to the needs and interests of members of the Young Lawyers Division.

The spring program will feature practical aspects of public interest practice including: client communication strategies, social media best practices for employers and employees, establishing special needs trusts, and setting up a non-profit entity.

The CLE will also feature hot topics and developing areas of law – higher education law in Colorado, implementing federal health reform in Colorado, Open Records Act, eminent domain and the RTD light rail project, dilemmas in prominent criminal prosecutions and affordable housing.

Cost for the program is $35.00 for Non-CBA Members; $20.00 CBA Members and $10.00 for Law Students, which includes written materials and lunch. There will be opportunities for networking and it is a great way to earn general CLE credits. Contact Richard at lunches@cobar.org or (303) 860-1115
