Coffee Talk: Colorado Special Education Law-Thursday, June 26, at 7:30 a.m.
The presentation will provide information on the Rules for Administration of the Protection of Persons from Restraint Act created by the Colorado Department of Education. We will discuss state seclusion and restraint laws and policies for schools and where Colorado stands nationally. We also will discuss some case examples and the results of The Legal Center's project and data collection dealing with restraint and seclusion in Colorado public schools. Book Reception for Judge Morris Hoffman's New Book "The Punisher's Brain" -Thursday, June 26, at 4:30 p.m.
The DBA Bench Bar Committee invites you to join them for a complimentary Book Reception on Thursday, June 26 at the Ralph L. Carr Judicial Center, from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m., in the Supreme Court Courtroom. Judge and author Morris Hoffman will discuss his recently published book "The Punisher's Brain." Seniors Golf Tournament-Wednesday, July 30, at 12 p.m.
