DBA YLD Hosts Law Suit Days—Oct. 10–11
From 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday, the DBA YLD will be on the steps of the Denver City and County Building to accept donations of gently used professional clothing, shoes, and accessories. All collected clothing and accessories will be donated to Bayaud Enterprises, Inc., a local nonprofit that provides vocational training, job coaching, résumé building, and job placement services for individuals with physical, mental, and emotional disabilities, and to homeless or low-income individuals and families. DBA Seniors to Roast Chuck Brega—Monday, Oct. 22
Roasters Announced

The DBA Seniors Committee will roast Chuck Brega on Monday, Oct. 22, at the University Club, 1673 Sherman St. Cocktails will be served starting at 5:15 p.m., with dinner at 6 p.m. and the roast to follow. A continuation of the Part I training presented in August, Part II will include an overview of the laws requiring public education for children with disabilities—the Individuals with Education Act (IDEA), Section 504 and the Americans with Disabilities Act, and Colorado’s Exceptional Children’s Education Act.
