*** Collections Law Basics: Triage for the Non-Collections Attorney Volunteer 
A fast-moving, entertaining presentation on the basics of the collections process is Tuesday, April 20, 3–5 p.m., at Mi Casa, 360 Acoma. Attorney-instructor Charles Nadler will prepare volunteer attorneys to handle basic questions from the public and know when a question requires expertise. No cost. Two CLE credits. *** Communication breakdowns in the courtroom?
The Bench-Bar Retreat, Saturday, April 10, 8:30 a.m. to noon, at the Warwick Hotel, 1776 Grant St., will focus on various aspects of communication issues in the practice of law, including in the courtroom, in the office, in mediation, and with respect to technology-related issues. In addition to two 50-minute presentations, there are two 50-minute roundtable sessions involving informal discussions among the judges and lawyers assigned to each table. Four general credits, including two ethics. Breakfast will be served. Cost is $40 for support staff, $60 for DBA members and $65 for nonmembers. *** Golfers Get Ready: 2010 Henry Hall Golf Tournament is June 7
The Henry Hall Memorial Golf Tournament is June 7 at the Lakewood Country Club. Shotgun start at 7:30 a.m. Founded in 1908, this Tom Bendelow and Donald Ross design is one of Colorado's oldest golf courses. True to Ross design characteristics, the course is playable yet challenging for all skill levels. The USGA Course and Slope Ratings are 71.9 and 136.
