Metro Volunteer Lawyers needs an attorney to assist a client in obtaining a title for the car she purchased. The client purchased a car in June 2008, finished paying for it in November 2008 and the seller still hasn’t transferred the title to her. The client took her car to be repaired at the same place she purchased it; it was stolen from that location and stripped for parts. In memory of Melissa McNichols Rupoli, the Denver Bar Association will be collecting new sweaters, sweatshirts, hats, gloves, scarves and socks for men, women and children battling cancer. Melissa is the daughter of Mary McNichols, an active DBA member and volunteer for the Community Action Network. Cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy and/or radiation treatments struggle to keep warm. All collections will be donated locally, to the American Cancer Society and Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers, in Melissa’s name.
