Metro Volunteer Lawyers needs an attorney to help a client with a conservatorship.  The client is quadriplegic and was the trustee of his own trust. *** Wheels of Justice Kickoff Party
Training rides for the Courage Classic cycling team recently began, but the real party starts Tuesday, May 13. The Wheels of Justice kickoff party is at 6 p.m. at Delaney’s next to the Celtic Tavern in LoDo, 1801 Blake St. Fundraising ideas will be discussed. Help the team break last year’s record donation of $184,000 to The Children’s Hospital, from 206 riders. Sign up now for the 157-mile trek through the Colorado Rockies July 26-28. Award-winning Colorado author and Denver attorney Wick Downing is speaking at 2 p.m., Saturday, May 10 at Tattered Cover (Colfax location). His most recent novel for young adults, “The Trials of Kate Hope” is about a teenager who partners with her aging, half-blind grandfather on an important case.
