*** Get Involved with the DBA’s Mock Trial Tournament
The DBA will host its regional mock trial tournament on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 10 & 11, at the Denver City/County Courthouse. Attorney and paralegal volunteers are needed to serve as scoring panelists, and current, retired or former magistrates and judges are needed to serve as presiding judges. *** Harvard Professor to Speak on “Reflections on the First Half-Century of Brown v. Board of Education”
The Denver Forum is holding a luncheon on Wednesday, Dec. 7, noon, at the Oxford Hotel, 1600 17th St., in the ballroom. The luncheon features Harvard University law professor Dr. Charles J. Ogletree Jr., author of All Deliberate Speed: Reflections on the First Half-Century of Brown v. Board of Education. Cost is $25 for Denver Forum members; $35 for non-members.
