All programs are at noon, on the third floor, usually have one CLE credit and include lunch (with the exception of Coffee Talk, see below).
 
***MARCH 29 -- Backing-Up: Cheap, Easy, Inexpensive Options
Brock Wood will show you software and hardware to make backing-up an easy proposition, instead of a painstaking one. Your office staff can attend at the member price.

***APRIL 5 -- Raising the Bar
The feature is a video highlighting the first women lawyers in Colorado, produced by the Colorado Women’s Bar Association and the Colorado Women's Bar Association Foundation.

***April 12 -- Litigation PR Skills for Lawyers
Chuck Gross will explain tips and techniques to help you develop a system for managing communications with key audiences outside the courtroom. This critical skill can affect the outcome of the case, as well as its impact on the client's overall reputation. 

***April 19 -- New Dependency & Neglect Appellate Rules
Come hear about some major changes in the rules that are already in effect.  

***April 27 -- DBA Young Lawyers Division Coffee Talk: Settlement Negotiations
Learn: how to evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of your case; how to communicate your assessment of the case to your client; ethical and evidentiary considerations of settlement negotiations; strategies of engaging in and beginning settlement negotiations (i.e. whether to use formal mediation; whether to make the first offer; assessing opposing counsel and opposing party. The program is 8- 9 a.m., 1900 Grant St., Suite 900. Cost is $5 for DBA members, $15 for non-members, continental breakfast included. RSVP by sending a check to DBA Coffee Talk. One general credit has been requested.
