*** Veterans Day Reception Nov. 16
All Bar members who have served in the military are invited to a Veterans Day celebration on Thursday, Nov. 16, at the Breckenridge Brewery, 2220 Blake St., at 5:30 p.m. A charge of $8 will cover hors d'oeuvres, and there will be a cash bar. We know Vets Day was Nov. 11, but this informal get-together will provide attorneys an opportunity to connect with other vets and share memories. If you have not already RSVP’d, please e-mail by Wednesday, Nov. 15.

*** The All New Ethics Revue
You are invited to the beginning of the most unusual marriage in the history of Colorado CLE. You will be privy to an unusual blend of the uniquely humorous musical skills of the Law Club and the remarkably insightful and thoughtful oratorical talents of the CBA Ethics Committee on Wednesday, Dec. 13, at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Denver. This is an occasion you must not miss. Tell your family. Tell your friends. Buy a table for the firm. Register online: The All New Ethics Revue; Dec. 13, 1–4 p.m.

*** The Joys of Being a Solo or Small Firm
The annual Holiday Networking Party hosted by the CBA Solo/Small Firm Section will be Tuesday, Dec. 5, noon, at the CBA offices. All are welcome! Cost for the buffet luncheon is $5 for section members, $10 for all others. RSVP to or (303) 860-1115, ext. 727. Questions? Contact Reba Nance, (303) 824-5320, or Michelle Gersic, (303) 824-5342.

*** Help Denver CASA for the Holidays on Dec. 16

*** Brighten the Holidays for Orphans
Three downtown Denver law firms — Sherman and Howard, The Harris Law Firm, and Bachus and Schanker — have joined forces to sponsor a holiday party for The Adoption Exchange, a charitable organization in Denver that works to place foster children in permanent adoptive homes. To get the 187 children and their sponsors to the mansion, the three firms are sponsoring bus transportation and gift bags for the children. If you and/or your firm would like to participate, call Heidi Culbertson at (303) 299-9484.
