*** DBA YLD Court Orientation
The YLD will host its annual Court Orientation on Nov. 16, 8:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m. in the Jury Assembly Room at the Denver City and County Building. This program is designed for newly admitted and new-to-the-area attorneys who want to become familiar with the Denver courts and judges. Cost is just $38 for DBA members and $48 for non-members and includes CLE (nine general credits requested), resource materials and lunch. For additional information, contact Trent Ongert at Trent@bmhlawfirm.com. To register, contact (303) 860-1115, ext. 727 or e-mail lunches@cobar.org.

*** The All New Ethics Revue
You are cordially invited to the beginning of the most unusual marriage in the history of Colorado Continuing Legal Education. On Dec. 13 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Denver you will be privy to an unusual blend of the uniquely humorous musical skills of the Law Club, with the remarkably insightful and thoughtful oratorical talents of the CBA Ethics Committee. This is an occasion you must not miss. Tell your family. Tell your friends. Buy a table for the firm.
Register online: The All New Ethics Revue; Dec. 13, 1–4 p.m.

*** Veterans Day Reception Nov. 16
All bar members, who also happen to have served in the military (WWI and newer), are invited to a Veterans Day celebration on Thursday Nov. 16 at the Breckenridge Brewery, 2220 Blake St., at 5:30 p.m. A charge of $8 will cover hors d'oeuvres, but the bar will be cash, i.e. on your own. We know Vets Day is Nov. 11, but this an informal, slightly delayed, get-together, which will provide attorneys an opportunity to connect with other vets and share memories. To get an idea of the count, please RSVP by Nov. 14 to Ingrid Heiser at iheiser@cobar.org. For questions, contact Chuck Turner at cturner@cobar.org.

*** Online Payment Available for Tuesdays at the Bar
For the first time, online registration and payment will be available for next week’s Tuesdays at the Bar program: “Ethical and Fiduciary Issues in Lawyer Mobility,” on Nov. 14, noon, at the DBA offices. Learn about the ethical and fiduciary issues with respect to taking and leaving clients when departing from a firm. One ethics credit has been requested. You still may register at lunches@cobar.org.

*** Byron R. White Memorial Reception
The Historical Society of the 10th Judicial Circuit is holding a reception for the opening of the Byron R. White Memorial at the Byron White U.S. Courthouse, 1823 Stout St., Nov. 14, 4:30–6:30 p.m. Remarks by Chief Judge Deanell Reece Tacha, Judge David Ebel, Judge Neil Gorsuch and Charles B. White. RSVP by Nov. 9 to Loretta Howard at (303) 298-5767 or e-mail LHoward@gibsondunn.com.

*** LRAP Benefit at Davis Graham & Stubbs
The Loan Repayment Assistance Program invites you to the Second Annual LRAP Benefit at Davis Graham & Stubbs, 1550 17th St., Denver, with guest speakers Sen. Ken Salazar and Professor Melissa Hart, on Friday, Nov. 10. Doors open at 4:30 p.m.; presentation at 5 p.m. Cost is $25 and includes one ethics CLE. All proceeds benefit LRAP.
