*** Remember When You Didn’t Know It All?
It may be tough to admit, but at one point in your legal career, you weren’t the legal eagle you are today. Or, maybe you’re still working on it. Either way, The Docket wants your agonizing story of a blunder you wish you could take back. Send your “worst legal blooper” tale to Stacy at schesney@cobar.org. Or, tell it in person at (303) 824-5347. We’ll compile the best stories and publish them in an upcoming issue of The Docket.

*** Check Your Mailboxes
The Barristers Benefit Ball is April 29 and invitations are on the way. Keep your eyes peeled, as they should be in mailboxes early next week. Or, click here for online information.

*** DBA Family Day, April 23, at Six Flags Elitch Gardens
Join the DBA for "Spring Spin" at Six Flags Elitch Gardens on Sunday, April 23, 10 a.m.–8 p.m. Tickets are only $21 per person (includes other goodies), and kids ages three and under are free! This year, Elitch Gardens is a new, more "Family-Oriented" park, featuring live street entertainment, two parades daily, and more interaction with cartoon characters. Spring Spin is a fundraiser and $5 of each ticket will go to the Denver Bar Foundation and Metro Volunteer Lawyers! For more info and to purchase tickets, go to http://www.denbar.org.

*** Get Golfing!
Those who sign up for the DBA Henry Hall Memorial Golf Tournament by April 21 will be registered to win a foursome at Green Valley Ranch Golf Club. This year's tournament is at the spectacular Green Valley Ranch Golf Club on Monday, May 22, with an afternoon shotgun start. See the awards Green Valley Ranch Golf Club has received and download a registration form.

*** Want to Learn Spanish or Need a Refresher?
Developed in collaboration with the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, this new 11-week program is designed to introduce those in the legal field to Spanish vocabulary, grammar, and culture while developing and building a legal Spanish vocabulary. Several levels are offered — start at the level that is best for you. Register online: Spanish for Legal Professionals, March 14 through May 23, 2006.

*** “Forty under 40” Awards
The Denver Business Journal’s “Forty under 40” awards luncheon is March 17. For more information and to register, click here.
