The Colorado Supreme Court is asking every Colorado lawyer to participate in the implementation of Rule of Professional Conduct 6.1, voluntary pro bono public service. To assist law firms that voluntarily participate, the Court has adopted a recommended model pro bono policy, and will publicly recognize each law firm that adopts its own pro bono policy that meets the Courts requirements. Get involved with the DBA Mock Trials! The DBA’s regional mock trial tournament is Friday and Saturday, Feb. 10–11, at the Denver City & County Courthouse. Attorney and paralegal volunteers are needed to serve as scoring panelists, and current, retired or former magistrates and judges are needed to serve as presiding judges.
