TUESDAYS AT THE BAR
Get lunch, CLE, and a great program!
Make reservations for these programs by sending a check for $15 ($25 for non-members), payable to the Denver Bar Association, to: Tuesdays at the Bar, DBA, 1900 Grant St., Ste. 900, Denver, CO, 80203. A form to use is below. You also may RSVP by calling (303) 860-1115, ext. 727, or e-mailing lunches@cobar.org. Indicate the program you will be attending. All programs are at the DBA, third floor, at noon. Cost includes lunch and typically one CLE credit. (Coffee Talk is a morning program on the 9th floor, and includes a continental breakfast for $5.)

Reba Nance, the Colorado Bar Association’s director of law practice management, will do a demonstration of, and answer questions about the CBA’s Online Legal Research Library. Casemaker is your source for Colorado case law, statutes, rules, The Colorado Lawyer and more. Come with questions. One general credit requested.

An update on ethics opinions 21 and 114, and other news affecting ethics. One ethics CLE credit requested.
*** Feb. 20: USA Patriot Act: How it is Affecting the Practice of Law
Learn the latest about how the Patriot Act is affecting the practice of law and trends for the future. One general CLE credit requested.
*** Feb. 27: E-filing Update
Find out where e-filing is mandatory and what you need to do to keep up with new requirements. One general CLE credit has been requested.
*** Wednesday, Feb. 28: DBA YLD Coffee Talk — Depositions: How to Make the Best Record, from a Court Reporter’s Perspective!
Avoid situations that make for a confusing and sometimes embarrassing deposition transcript. Shelly Hunter of Hunter + Geist, Inc. will present on this topic.
