Don't miss this CBA Transitions Committee program about retirement on Wednesday, Sept. 12, noon-1 p.m., featuring retired attorneys Catharyn Baird and Glen Keller,  and former CBA Communications Director Diane Hartman. The panelists will cover issues such as: how they planned for retirement; what they expected retirement to be like; the reality of the retirement experience; and advice to those considering retirement. The Bench-Bar Committee's CLE luncheon, "Professionalism in the Courtroom: What Judges Expect from Lawyers," will be Thursday, Sept. 20, noon-1:45 p.m., at the Denver City & County Building, Courtroom 1, 1435 Bannock St. The program features Hon. *** Hear Attorney Cliff Stricklin
Cliff Stricklin, first assistant U.S. Attorney for Colorado, will be the guest speaker at a luncheon at the Denver Athletic Club, 1335 Glenarm Pl., at noon on Tuesday, Sept. 25. Stricklin will talk about his experiences serving as part of the prosecution team on the criminal cases brought against former Enron CEO Kenneth Lay and former Qwest CEO Joe Nacchio. This event is co-sponsored by the Denver Bar Association, Denver Press Club, the Denver Athletic Club and the Society of Professional Journalists.
