Metro Volunteer Lawyers needs an experienced probate attorney. An MVL client has a judgment for more than $40,000 in back child support. The client believes that the obligor stands to inherit money from an estate currently in probate, and she would like help collecting the judgment from the estate. If you would be interested in helping this client, contact Debora Wagner at (303) 866-9378.

*** School Supply Drive
The DBA Annual School Supply Drive to benefit Denver Public School students will be July 30–Aug. 9. The Community Action Network is looking for law firms, corporate counsel, and federal and state legal departments to collect necessary school supplies for underprivileged students enrolled in the DPS Educational Outreach Project. CAN you or your firm fill backpacks with the supplies necessary to help the kids succeed? Last year, 300 backpacks filled with supplies were distributed to students. All supplies will be picked up at the end of the drive, organized and delivered to the students on Aug. 12. To participate, contact to Aaron P. Bradford at (303) 874-3434 or at abradford@pjckn.com.

*** Submit Personal Stories of Larry Manzanares
As members of the legal community mourn the loss of Larry Manzanares, the bar association has received requests from members who wish to share their memories of him. An online form has been created for this purpose. It should be running by the end of today. Check back to www.cobar.org under “Ongoing Items” for the link.
