*** Don't Forget! DBA Party Tomorrow
The DBA Annual Awards Party is tomorrow, Wednesday, June 6, 5:30 p.m., at the Denver Public Library, 10 W. 14th Ave. Enjoy free food and drink, and mingle and network with other members. There is no charge to attend.

*** DBA Seniors Golf Tournament
The DBA Seniors Committee annual golf tournament will be Wednesday, July 25, at the Homestead Golf Course, 11500 W. Hampden Ave. An informal lunch is at noon, with tee-off around 1 p.m. Cost is $45, which includes greens fees, cart, prizes and lunch. *** Title Insurance - Where Legal Support Staff Fits
This CBA-CLE program on June 21, 8:30 a.m.-12:15 p.m., is for support staff, and will provide information on the current standards of the title industry. Discover the "what and why" of title insurance and exceptions; review probate and protective proceedings to transfer marketable title; and receive tips on closings. *** Teach a Small Claims or Collections Clinic
The DBA is seeking volunteers to teach lunch-time Small Claims and/or Collections Pro Se Clinics for the public at the Denver County Court. These clinics are designed to help people file small claims and collection actions in court. They discuss alternatives to filing, the process of filing a small claim and how to prepare and present a case to the judge. These clinics offer legal information, not legal advice.
