Fred Brown, Denver Post political columnist, will moderate this free event.
*** Nominees Sought for First Amendment Award On Constitution Day, Sept. 17, the Colorado Pro Chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists, in partnership with the Colorado Press Association, will honor individuals or organizations that have exemplified the five freedoms protected in the First Amendment: religion, petition, assembly, speech and the press. Examples of these freedoms should have occurred in Colorado between July 1, 2006 and June 30, 2007. The deadline for entries is July 4.
