Monthly Networking Meetings
Solo Small Firm Section networking meetings are a great opportunity to connect with your peers, as well as a practice management and technology discussion forum. The meetings are open to all CBA members, not just Solo Small Firm Section members, the sponsoring entity. Colorado Springs routinely offers CLE credits, although sometimes there is no formal agenda, and no RSVP is required to attend any of the meetings. We encourage you to think about and prepare questions or ideas to present to the group. Don't hesitate to email a meeting coordinator to suggest a CLE topic and/or speaker!
Small Talk...It’s No Joke!—Wednesday, April 1
Have you ever felt awkward at Bar Association networking events? Or sat staring at other attendees waiting for a meeting to start? Join Debra Fine for her fast-paced, interactive and entertaining presentation The Fine Art of Small Talk. In Debra’s presentation you’ll laugh, learn and leave with insightful and informative conversation tips and techniques on how to strike up conversations and keep them going, avoid conversation “killers”, exit conversations with grace and develop business relationships. Join us on Wednesday, April 1, at 5:30 p.m., at the CBA CLE offices, third floor. Appetizers, beer, wine and soda will be provided. Cost to attend is $25 for members, $20 for law students and $50 for nonmembers. RSVP online, email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 303-860-1115, ext. 727.
Stratum is the first-of-its kind for the Colorado Bar Association—a community-focused, co-working space for members.
