Monthly Networking Meetings

Solo Small Firm Section networking meetings are a great opportunity to connect with your peers, as well as a practice management and technology discussion forum. The meetings are open to all CBA members, not just Solo Small Firm Section members, the sponsoring entity. Colorado Springs routinely offers CLE credits, although sometimes there is no formal agenda, and no RSVP is required to attend any of the meetings. We encourage you to think about and prepare questions or ideas to present to the group. Don't hesitate to email a meeting coordinator to suggest a CLE topic and/or speaker!

Have you subscribed to the CBA Solo Small Firm Section’s listserve? The listserve is an invaluable source of information, recommendations and even referrals! If you are new to the listserve feel free to post a one-time email introducing yourself including your areas of practice. Join the listserve today by clicking here or contacting Sue Bertram. Be sure to read the guidelines.

Still not sure if the listserve will benefit you and your practice? Read what some of your colleagues have to say about the listserve:

"This is why the SSF group is so great! It’s a true community - so knowledgeable and generous with sharing that knowledge!”
Barb Heikoff

“I am speechless at the amount of support and offers to assist that I received.  What a great group!”
—Kimberly Utesch

“On a side note, it is great to see so many fantastic attorneys actively participating on this listserv. The information and experiences shared on a daily basis has been a tremendous resource for us.”
—Qusair “Q” Mohamedbhai

“This listserve for solos is a godsend. It is great to have other resources to bounce ideas off and also to help with referrals to my clients who need services I don't provide. I have met quite a few of the lawyers and also been able to provide resources to them. It's like having a virtual “big firm” where an experienced attorney is just down the hall—or in this case—at your fingertips.”
—Rose Mary Zapor
