NOTICE OF RULE-MAKING HEARING (COLORADO DEPARTMENT OF PERSONNEL AND ADMINISTRATION OFFICE OF ADMINISTRATIVE COURTS) PROCEDURAL RULES FOR WORKERS' COMPENSATION HEARINGS
Pursuant to Section 24-4-103(4), C.R.S. (2004), notice is hereby given that the Executive Director of the Department of Personnel and Administration will hold a public rule-making hearing at 9:00 a.m. on October 7, 2005, at the Office of Administrative Courts,
633 Seventeenth Street, Suite 1300, Denver, Colorado.
This hearing will be held to allow the public to comment on a complete revision of the rules applicable to Workers' Compensation hearings at the Office of Administrative Courts.
The rule-making hearing is conducted pursuant to the authority granted to the Executive Director of the Department of Personnel and Administration by Sections 24-50.3-104 (3)(a) and (3)(g), C.R.S. (2004)
The proposed Workers' Compensation Rules of Procedure constitute a complete revision of the procedures to be followed at the Office of Administrative Courts in Workers' Compensation adjudications, from the filing of an Application for Hearing, through the issuance of an order and the completion of any subsequent proceedings at the Office of Administrative Courts.
Any person will have the opportunity to participate in the hearing by submitting written data, views or comments prior to the hearing, or by presenting data, views or comments orally at the rule-making hearing.
