Attend the morning, afternoon, or both programs with Roy Ginsburg—a lawyer coach who works with attorneys to help them achieve practice goals and career satisfaction. He offers practical examples and tools, and incorporates the ethics rules on marketing into his presentation. Morning Program: Build Your Practice: A Roadmap to Effective, Ethical Business Development. Attracting new clients in an unstable, competitive environment is more difficult than ever. This practical multi-media seminar delivers proven methods to build your practice within professional and ethical parameters. Afternoon Program: Retain New Clients: How to Provide Effective, Ethical Client Service. Many lawyers forget that law is a service profession. The Colorado State Court System: The Judges’ Perspective—Friday, Sept. 12
Hosted by the Colorado Judicial Institute

The role of politics in selecting state judges has been a hot topic for legislatures, governors, and courts across the nation. Since 1966, Colorado’s State Constitution has provided for a merit-based selection system of appointing state judges rather than electing them based on partisan politics. This program will discuss Colorado’s merit selection system, provide a national overview of judicial fairness and impartiality, and give a judicial perspective on selection and retention of state judges. Join the CJI at the Ralph L. Carr Justice Center on Friday, Sept. 12 from 8 to 11 a.m. Three CLE credits are available including one ethics. Click here for more information.
