Coffee Talk: Wednesday, March 25, 2009 – Writing Your Resume so Recruiters Will Notice You- We will be hosting law firm recruiters who will give you tips on writing your resume and what recruiters are looking for in possible recruits.  If you are looking for a position you will not want to miss this program.  One general credit. ***Legal Film Night - Thanks for making it a success!***

The DBA-YLD thanks the CBA-YLD, Greg Bentley, DU Student Business Law Society, and the Sturm College of Law and all of you who attended our first-ever Legal Film Night.  The DBA-YLD especially thanks YLD executive council member Lucia Padilla for her hard work, which made the night a success.  The next Legal Film Night will be hosted by the CBA-YLD at the University of Colorado in Boulder.  Please stay tuned for the details.

So you can enjoy your new life as an attorney.  DBA leaders put together a new mentoring program, just for lawyers who have less than five years of experience.  Save the Date: Kick-Off Breakfast June 2! ***TIRED OF DEALING WITH RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL ATTORNEYS?***

The CBA Solo Small Firm Section will sponsor a two-hour ethics CLE program on Wednesday, March 25, 2009, from noon to 2pm on the 3rd floor at 1900 Grant Street, featuring the Honorable John Leopold, retired Chief Judge of the 18th Judicial District (and currently with JAMS), and Ben Aisenberg, a member of the DBA Metropolitan Conciliation Panel.  They will share war stories, and attendees will come away with a list of practical tips for diffusing difficult situations with opposing counsel.  Two ethics credits will be available.  Cost, including lunch is $5 for Solo and Small Firm Practice Section Members; $10 for all others.  Send your RSVP to lunches@cobar.org or call (303) 860-1115 ext. 727. ***Tennis Anyone?***
