Pro Bono Week—Denver Access to Justice

  • Oct. 22 from 4 to 5:30 p.m.—Denver Access to Justice Committee is staffing a General LawLine 9 at 9News.
  • Oct. 23 at noon —University of Denver Sturm College of Law Lunch Panel for students: The Access to Justice Committee will present career skills and tips, with an emphasis on how pro bono can enhance one’s career, and provide new practice area information to build new client and attorney networking contacts—plus more!

  • Oct. 31 from noon to 1 p.m.—Lunch CLE titled “How to Be a Modern Day Clarence Darrow in the Courtroom without the Ethical Pitfalls.” Come join the actor of the play Clarence Darrow, Judge Sanford Brook, for an insightful look into the person many legal scholars consider to be the best trial lawyer of the 20th Century. There is much to be learned from Darrow’s passion in the courtroom, his commitment to clients, and his pursuits of the highest ideals of the legal profession. The CLE accredited program will be held in the CLE Small Classroom, at 1900 Grant Street, Suite 300. This program is co-sponsored by the Colorado Access to Justice Commission, the Denver Access to Justice Committee and the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association. Cost is $15.
