A chic yet subtle bar nestled east of 17th Avenue hotspots like Tavern Uptown and Hamburger Mary’s was the location of The Docket’s fall bar review. Here is what a few of your colleagues had to say about Parallel 17:

“Excellent appetizers and good happy hour prices. The only drawback was traffi c noise on 17th Avenue that interfered with the otherwise mellow ambience of the outdoor dining experience.”
— Marshall A. Snider
“It’s nice to have a place in Denver where you can bring in discerning foodies from The Coast (pick your poison) and have them leave impressed — with the tasty food, the often exotic faces and the Uptown vibe. Patio seating, plenty of free parking and Kobe sliders. What more can you ask for?”
— Greg Rawlings
“Parallel 17 was unexpectedly reasonably priced (during the happy hour) and was a good alternative to a typical downtown, workday happy hour. I enjoyed the ambiance of the patio with the trees and the neighborhood feel; however, the business of 17th Avenue detracted from the overall outdoor experience. I appreciated the happy hour wine price, and thought that
the appetizers we had were delicious. I do envision myself going here again for a happy hour.” — Becky Bye
