The CBA Ethics Committee joined forces with the west Denver Harkness Heights Neighborhood Association to donate more than 500 pairs of gloves and socks to Afghanistan. A member of the Ethics Committee who is currently working in Afghanistan helped coordinate local distribution. In camps like these, there is little or no electricity or wood for heating. Winter temperatures are very cold (Kabul also is a mile-high city) and the snows have set in.
