    Fifty Foster Children Officially Home

National Adoption Day was celebrated in Denver Juvenile Court on Nov. 16 with judges and magistrates finalizing the adoption of more than 50 foster children with permanent families. The occasion was marked by adoption proceedings throughout the morning at the Denver City and County Building. The Denver Bar Association was happy to be a sponsor at such a great event.

"This is truly a day for celebration, as we are uniting so many children with permanent and loving families," said Denver Juvenile Court Presiding Judge Karen Ashby.

Judge D. Brett Woods and his family help finalize Colorado adoptions.

Ed Greene and foster children Julio, Fausto and Damien Rebazakeltner join hundreds at the Denver City and County Building to congratulate new adoptive parents and children.
