Olivia Rajchel, an eighth-grader at Oberon Middle School, participated in the DBA "Roll Out the Barrels" food drive to benefit the Food Bank of the Rockies. Students from the school took on a "Positive Change Project," and Olivia contacted the DBA to find out how she could help. She distributed flyers in her neighborhood and went door-to-door requesting donations. She then came to the DBA to drop off her dozens of donations. Olivia would like to thank her teacher, Ms. Shellhorn, for inspiring the project, and her neighbor Laura, who contributed above and beyond what was expected. The DBA CAN Committee would like to thank Olivia for her hard work on the project!

DBA volunteers answered legal questions at the 2007 CHUN Capital Hill People’s Fair, June 2–3. Each year, the DBA staffs a booth with attorney and paralegal volunteers to answer the public’s questions, and distribute brochures and legal resource information. The volunteers answered more than 100 legal questions during the fair.
