DBA Coffee Talk
On Feb. 22, successful, involved leaders in the legal and business community spoke about their experience with boards, committees and other organizations. Speakers included: Ed Kahn of Kelly Haglund Garnsey & Kahn; Rico Munn of Baker & Hostetler; and DBA President Chris Little of Montgomery Little & McGrew. They discussed their specific experience with boards, as well as their perceived benefits of joining, organizations to get involved in, and time commitment.

DU Law School Recent Graduate Reunion/Hockey Night
The University of Denver Sturm College of Law & the Young Lawyers Division of the Denver Bar Association hosted the Sixth Annual Recent Graduate Reunion/YLD Hockey Night on Friday, Feb. 24. More than 200 people attended the event, which featured an exclusive reception
followed by the hockey game where two-time NCAA-title champion University of Denver Pioneers took on the University of North Dakota. It was hosted by the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, LexisNexis®, the Young Lawyers Division of the Denver Bar Association, and Breckenridge Brewery. Congratulations to all the winners of the DBA Community Action Network Photo Contest, which was held in conjunction with the benefit for Children’s Outreach Project. More than 50 entries were received and the judges had an extremely difficult time choosing winners from the incredible submissions. The theme of the contest was “Through the Eyes of a Child,” and entries were judged on artistry and adherence to theme.
