DBA–CLE for November

2005 Fall Estate Planning Update is Nov. 11, 8:45 a.m.–4:50 p.m. Learn from some of Colorado’s best trust and estate lawyers as they present on current issues. Many timely topics are covered, including new GST regulations and preparing a proper gift tax return, ethics and Circular 230, total return trusts, real estate issues in estate planning and administration, an update on advanced medical directives, gifts for minors, and more! Tuition is $179 for CBA Trust and Estate members; $199 for CBA members; and $229 for non-members. Seven general and one ethics credit.

Legal Ethics and Professional Conduct is Nov. 17, 9 a.m.–12:15 p.m. This program with Alexander R. Rothrock examines and helps you resolve the ethical and professional responsibility dilemmas that challenge you in day-to-day practice. The CBA–CLE publication is included with this course and is a must-have for all attorneys! Tuition is $159 for CBA
members, including book; and $189 for non-members, including book. Four general and 3.6 ethics credits.

23rd Annual National CLE Conference is Jan. 3–7, 2006, early morning and late afternoon schedule, at Snowmass Conference Center in Snowmass Village. Live programs will cover: Civil Litigation, Criminal Law, Employee Benefits, Family Law, Health Law, Intellectual Property, Labor and Employment, Real Estate/Land Use/Environmental and Trusts and Estates. This is a great opportunity to network with fellow attorneys from all over the country in one of the nations top-rated ski destinations. The convenient daily schedule allows you to get your CLE and ski. Tuition is $575 (thru 12/2/05); $675 (after 12/2/05). 20–24 general, plus ethics credits.

Ethics for Government Lawyers

The CBA’s Government Counsel Section and the Colorado Attorney General’s Office will present "Ethics for Government Lawyers V" on Friday, Dec. 9 from 8 a.m. to noon at The Warwick Hotel, 1776 Grant St. The cost is $35 for CBA members and Colorado Attorney General’s Office attorneys, and $50 for all other participants.
