Celebrate the 2004 DBA Award Winners

You’re invited to the Denver Bar Association Annual party on June 9, 5:30 p.m., at the Denver Public Library. Besides free food and drink and the best socializing, we’ll be honoring some very special members.

John Castellano

Award of Merit

The Award of Merit will be presented to John Castellano, partner at Holland & Hart and former DBA president. John started a program for at-risk kids at Greenlee Elementary School in 1988 and it’s still going. He was instrumental in getting the Gov. Ralph Carr memorial on the capitol grounds. He’s a current Waterman Fund Administrator, has been on the DBA Conciliation Panel, has participated in the DBA YLD Celebration of Excellence and has been very active in a number of community projects.

Denver District Judge John Coughlin is awarded the Judicial Excellence Award for his skill, intelligence, fairness, pleasant demeanor to all litigants and attorneys despite acrimony in a case, and for the dignity he maintained during a troublesome 2004.
