SAFE AND SOUND:

John Scott returned safely home from Iraq recently and was released from active duty with the Marines on February 4. He has teamed up with his lovely bride of 18 years and is now spending most of his professional time selling real estate as a broker and Realtor with the DTC office of Keller Williams Realty.

A DIRECT QUOTE:

Wollins

"David H. Wollins and Jonathan J. Hellman announce that effective, Feb. 1, 2005, they have formed David H. Wollins, P.C. and Jonathan J. Hellman, P.C., respectively, in which they shall continue their practices of law. Although Wollins & Hellman, P.C. has ceased the practice of law, the change is primarily designed to streamline the administrative aspects of their respective practices. David and Jonathan will continue to share office space, collaborate on ideas and achieve excellent results for their clients."

A GOOD MEMORY:

Mort Davis remembers when his former partner Jeff Laski decided to go see the St. Louis Cardinals play in the World Series. When he got there, he told the Cardinal’s management about the critically-ill son of one of his clients and that the boy’s main wish was to see the Cardinals play. They flew the boy and his family out, put them in the management box, and were wonderful to the boy and his family.

PASSED:

Tom Richard Dolven, 46, a products liability attorney who started Dewhirst and Dolven, died in a ski accident in February.
