Donate Your Old Cell Phones Have you upgraded from the three-pound, brick-shaped cell phone to a more sleek and colorful model, and now don’t know what to do with the old phone? The Denver and Colorado Bar Associations are collecting old cell phones for victims of domestic violence through a national campaign called The Wireless Foundation, a nonprofit organization founded by the Cellular Telecommunications Industry Association. Your old phone could save the life of one of the over-5,000 victims who are beaten and abused every day. Any wireless phone is acceptable. Please bring your phones to the bar associations’ lobby on the ninth floor of 1900 Grant St., Denver CO 80203 anytime in April. You may also start a collection at your own firm or local bar association and mail your phones in care of Molly Osberg at the above address. Please call (303) 860-1115, or toll free (800) 332-6736, and ask for Karen Bries or Molly Osberg if you have questions.
