Legal Night at the Center Legal Night at the Center is the third Tuesday of each month (March 16 this month), from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at El Centro Bienestar. CAN DO! Take a page from Snell & Wilmer's book. The Community Action Network (CAN) congratulates Snell & Wilmer for its organization of an ice skating event and clothing drive for DPS Education Outreach Program students. Four Arrupe Jesuit High School freshman, who work in the Snell & Wilmer office here in Denver, helped coordinate the drive. Through the high school's work-study program, Oscar and Monique's (seen at left) part-time work at Snell & Wilmer pays for the majority of their tuition.
Roll Out the Barrels It's almost time for the fifth annual "Roll Out the Barrels Food Drive" for the Food Bank of the Rockies. The Denver Bar Association's CAN will drop off a barrel at your firm or office. All you have to do is fill it with non-perishable food items (or cash donations) and the committee will pick it up. Please let Kari Brandt know if you would like to participate this year by e-mailing kbrandt@cobar.org. We'll also continue the donation competition by firm size (1-20, 21-60, 61-100, 101-150 and 151+ employees). Back | ||||||||||
