The 2013 Colorado Court Orientation is a program geared at introducing new attorneys and attorneys new-to-the-area to the nuts and bolts of practicing law in Denver and around Colorado. This event will focus on pragmatic tips for new local attorneys in any practice area. Presentations will highlight key ethical considerations for practitioners, strategies for negotiation and litigation, practical legal writing tips, common substantive issues new attorneys face, and much more. The program will feature presentations from local judges, practitioners, and legal professionals.
The program will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 7 and 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 8, at the Ralph L. Carr Colorado Judicial Center in the Colorado Supreme Courtroom.Click here for a complete agenda.
14 CLE credits, including two ethics credits, are available. The cost to attend is $40 for members, $60 for non members, and $25 for students.
